Thermoforming at Polimer

Thermoforming is a technological process in which products of specific shapes are formed from flat films or sheets, preheated to a specific temperature close to the softening temperature (characteristic of the material).

Thermoforming is a two-stage process: in the first stage, the semi-finished product is heated, and in the second stage, the required shape is given – moulding.

Our machinery includes, among others, the largest thermoforming machine in Poland, where the maximum sheet dimensions are: 2.5 x 3.5, and the thermoforming height reaches up to 1 m.

The parts made by thermoforming are much lighter, more precise and above all cheaper than those made by means of laminating technology.

We form materials supplied from the leading and tested producers such as ABS,ABS/PMMA,PMMA,PVC,PC and other thermoplastic materials.

We also manufacture the products by means of LEXAN material which has obtained a certified in combustibility EN 45545-2 for rail vehicles and the European Certificate 95/28/EC for some motorvehicles.
